New CDC guidelines for the treatment of sexually transmitted infections

The County of Santa Clara Public Health Department is receiving record numbers of reports of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) mirroring similar increases seen nationally. While LGBTQ communities, people of color, and those experiencing poverty, homelessness, and addiction continue to be disproportionately impacted, rising rates mean that additional populations are at greater risk.
